So I'm doing some simple php work to connect a client's website to paygate. The problem is that they rely on an 'encryption key' to be sent with form data. It's all fine and well if you ask me to retain a secret variable within your own site but now I'm asked to pass this 'secret' ;) to the paygate processor.

So how do you guys that have done it already do it? Is there a gap in my knowledge that I am ignorant of?

I've tried passing it thru the url but their capturing process does not respond well to it. They provide "demo" files to see how the process works but i.m.o making a form field hidden is not exactly that secure.
