Ola

So was browsing for WIn 7 themes and found some nice ones over on MSs website as well as another site ('though they are actually not themes, more fancy wallpaper and custom color settings) Anyways, links below

MS Website: (Porsche and Ducatti ones rock) - http://windows.micro...ads/personalize

Other one: (Earth one is fairly nice) - http://www.ithinkdif...ndows-7-themes/

The MS link also has some nice gadgets - the improved CPU meter is a nice one.

Link your finds here !

I saw Ferrari.

I clicked D/L.

And then, I proceeded to smile idiotically every time I clicked the "Next Desktop Background" button.

*Got rid of the red Taskbar tho. :bleh:

Awesome find.

On the theme front, my favorites are the Japan and South Africa themes (Japan on my laptop and SA on my desktop).

I just downloaded the Coca Cola Happiness factory theme and I like it a lot. Huge fan of the happiness factory campaign.

i dont get why the themes dont have screensavers. the screensavers that come with win7 just bore me to death - they havent changed since windows 95.

I've got a funky clock screensaver on my work laptop - PolarClock3. If it's not plugged in the screen switches off so fast you won't see it though.

Can't recall if I've got anything at home, think it goes dark... and that's it.

Haven't been saving screens in ages, since power saving mode makes more sense.

Lack of nice screensaver solved - I give you: http://download.cnet...4-10627791.html

Very nice, although I think a certain member should stay away from this one to avoid flashbacks ....

Called Launch Control, you can find it here I love this little thing. Icons can be dragged into the gadget, plentyfull customisable and you can change it's size to add more icons, I like the size it's now.

That, calculator( i use it daily for stuffs like mileage and a few other things) and battery monitor helps keep my desktop as squeeky clean as I like it.

HI,

Here is another cool thing you can use to customize your windows, be it win 7 or vista:
It is called RAINMETER and you can get it here!

What is Rainmeter?
Rainmeter is a desktop customization platform. Through Rainmeter, you can enhance your Windows computer at home or work with skins: handy, compact applets which float freely on your desktop, much like Windows Sidebar gagdgets, or dashboard widgets for the Mac. Rainmeter skins provide you with useful information at a glance. It's easy to keep an eye on your system resources, like memory and battery power, or your online data streams, including email, RSS feeds, and weather forecasts. Many skins are even functional: they can record your notes and to-do lists, launch your favorite applications, and send your tweets to Twitter - all in a clean, unobtrusive interface that you can rearrange and customize to your liking.
