  1. WD Raptor Drives?

One of these days we will have affordable high-performance SSD drives that will relegate all the platter driven monstrosities to the past but in the meantime yeah I would have to agree, the Raptors really are the bee’s knees (sorry had to be done ) I have been a devout user for many years now.
  2. Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 Announced

As was the case with a number of the recent sequels it will probably only qualify as an expansion but with the original being as good as it is I don’t really see that as a bad thing http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/836/836746p1.html
  3. Splinter Cell: Conviction

  5. Just tried Crysis on my pc

Unfortunately I don't see a lot of people playing this game online in SA the system requirements are just too high. The netcode appears to be quite good though I played on a 400-ping international server without any serious issues.
  6. Pulling a Stunt on myself ...

We are getting ripped off, unfortunately this isn't new
  7. Zalman 600W Modular PSU

Cool thanks Gav. I ran a GTX on it with no problems, it comes with two PCI-E connectors so no adapters needed. Now let's be reasonable, you are offering less than half the retail price

  11. 22" @ WQUXGA

Great resolution but the rest of the specs aren't all that great, obviously it will improve in time though http://www.dailytech.com/Toshibas+New+222i...article9513.htm
  12. My new toy VW222U

    Congrats 22" screens are wicked
  13. Need For Speed: ProStreet

He need to sort his power out first, seems like his current PSU is in no mood of handling 2 8800GTX's Oh, snap. Well it's a 600W so it might cope but I don't want to risk it, still trying to track down a Coolermaster 850 or something equivalent that doesn't cost two arms and a left nut
  14. Need For Speed: ProStreet

I downloaded the PC demo from Fileplanet this afternoon and gave it a whirl, all things considered I think this will be the best NFS game since Porsche Unleashed. The cars handle much more realistically than previous titles without crossing the line where it turns into a simulator that you can’t play without a lot of expensive gear, they sound brilliant and the game looks pretty good while still running smoothly. The damage model is a little odd at times, I rolled my car at 300km/h down a 100 meter stretch of road (more than once) losing half the car’s body yet the windows remained intact. Best of all you aren’t racing on public streets so no more annoying traffic to get in your way
