I think the last one I used was the Hive - Friggen Awesome! I definitely cannot afford a set of my own at this time, but for short stints it's a damn good experience! Table tennis felt surprisingly natural even though the game is visually quite basic. The shooting game I played also felt damn good - Raw Data. Wish I had more time on that one. Played about two games, the first being mostly figuring out how things work. Discovering you can dual-wield guns... ah Blissful Gunplay Gangster!

  3. What song are you listening to at the moment?

That's a horrible song It's a fairly generic instrument, but IIRC normally used more in the background or backing or whatever it's called. Can't put my finger on anything recent that used it though. These boere-techno type things tend to mimic slightly older sounds though, so it's probably 5-10 years old
  4. What song are you listening to at the moment?

That goes for most of their stuff. Some extreme choreography.
  5. What song are you listening to at the moment?

Ah - another Leo - Waka Waka!
  6. Doom 4

This game is one of the reasons I decided to upgrade my GPU. Stopped playing on the 760 and want to restart it from scratch on the 1060, yet I still haven't gotten around to it almost 2 months later Quite impressive! Spent a lot of time seeking out those little dollies - that fist bump one - AH!
  7. Funny Videos (Part 2)

I wasn't expecting it from Corridor, but this was damn brilliant.
  8. What song are you listening to at the moment?

On a lighter note - An old remaster of an even older song: DHT - Listen to Your Heart A parody of Heathens by Twenty One Pilots (All my friends are Bearded).
  9. What song are you listening to at the moment?

A few I've liked in the last while (Angry music eh?) Stone Sour - Gone Sovereign. There's also a version that nicely into 'Absolute Zero' Skillet - Feel Invincible. Another Leo Moracchioli (Frog Leap Studios) cover. This of Foo Fighters - The Pretender. I like the chorus bits.
  10. What song are you listening to at the moment?

Surprisingly close to my description indeed, but not trance-y enough
  11. What song are you listening to at the moment?

Ah yes! Thanks! That's exactly the one I was thinking of. Sjoe - Dec 2011!
  12. AMD Radeon RX 480

I ended up getting a GTX1060 from Wootware fro R4500 at the end of October. Must say - really impressed. I've even played a surprising amount of titles at 4k on it with only slightly dropped settings, including Battlefield 4. Given the performance I've seen, getting a 1070 if you only run 1080p @ 60Hz is a waste of money.
  13. Hi, my name is Stereo Mike...

Hey Driver! Yeah, you're one of the few people I follow on twitter. There's plenty of "noise" on there, but very little of it is substantive. I mainly use it to find the interesting bits or up-to-date events. Facebook is slightly better, but it's rare to find a good conversation. I mainly use it to keep track friends/family, so that might be my fault. Forums were still the best place to have a good conversation. A few people found solace in Reddit, but it was just too big for my liking. It might actually suite your needs if you find the right sub-reddit, but I don't know how many South Africans actually frequent it. For software development/IT I had a little luck on Slack (new take on old-school IRC), but the amount of chatter makes it hard to keep up, and since it's more real-time, it's easy to miss a good topic of conversation. The guys on there tended to be much more coherent in their discussion with much less personal attacks and emotions getting in the way. Overall though, life is quite a bit busier, so I don't go seeking out discussions quite as often. Younger buggers, and there's quite a few of those as we get older ;), don't seem to care for forums. Facebook groups somehow satisfy them?
  14. What song are you listening to at the moment?

@Xiphan - You don't perhaps remember posting a trance-y tune here some time in the past? It featured quite a cool music video. Starts off with fish in the sea. The fish then evolve and move on to land. Then eventually cave men appear, and they start hunting. Then fighting. Some time passes then you enter the modern world. Towards the end of the song they detect asteroids heading towards Earth or something. Then the world starts working together to build ships to get off planet. IIRC it ends with the ships safely launched, and Earth getting destroyed. As every age ends the music calms down, then some kind of conflict comes around and the music becomes more 'aggressive' until the next phase.
  15. The Grand Tour

Quite impressed by the first two episodes. Not too fond of the test track or driver.
