SS OK

Recommended Posts

We have a whining thread and a winning thread. Time for a middle ground: the "OK thread" wherein there is neither a katabatic folding of self into an abyss of loathing nor a grand expansive jizzing from a mountaintop.

I'll start: had a chicken noodle soup for lunch, it was OK.

Stood in Vodashop Q for 45min only to be told the 3G package we HAVE to upgrade they don't have a USB Dongle (R149pm) only a WiFi thing (R179 or something pm) and the USB will only be in next week. Also wanted to update my Data Bundle on my phone from 100mb - 250mb was told if i do it now it will be added to this months account as well since they can't set a starting date, so i have to go back next week for that as well.

But it was OK had a Wimpy Coffee after that with The Wife and will have one again next week!

Just returned from a 500km round trip to install a fingerprint clock at a client.

My (substantial) ass is killing me but at least I didn't have to spend the day in the office!

Ooh, I write software for those too. Touch screen CE based devices with secugen/lumidigm readers.

Last night, in an attempt to drink away the mind-numbing dullness brought on by being stuck in this repetitive, hateful, zero sum game called life, I drank, a lot. It went ok.

I spilled coffee over a bunch of old notes/docs.

My desk is clean now.

My notepad is squishy.

I already have a "slight" weight issue dude

(on the other hand it might help if you have free choice and don't buy take aways the whole time because you're too tired or lazy to cook healthy meals)

New office headsets.

Super-awkward... Will test it once we move office.

They are big. And Brown. And WTF?

But at least we got headsets that connect to the PCs.

....

But now we have to use them for this 3CX phone software... Which is kinda shyte... but maybe we can link it up to Android apps, so run the phone over WiFi to our personal phones and not look like total doos-es with these huge BROWN headsets...
